Design Construct Flooring completed a 5,000 square foot commercial flooring installation at the Conroe Aquatic Center, a public recreation and aquatic facility serving families, staff, and visitors in the Greater Houston area. The scope of work included the replacement of existing flooring with new broadloom roll carpet throughout the administrative offices, staff areas, and common spaces. The project focused on providing a durable, low-maintenance flooring solution capable of withstanding the heavy daily foot traffic of a community recreation center while maintaining a clean, professional appearance. Special attention was given to moisture management and transition details near locker rooms and high-humidity zones to ensure long-term performance and safety. Our installation team coordinated closely with facility management to minimize disruption to ongoing public programs. All work was completed on a compressed schedule, utilizing low-VOC adhesives and environmentally responsible materials that met Conroe’s sustainability goals. The new carpet system features stain resistance, acoustic comfort, and ADA-compliant transitions, improving both functionality and visitor experience. This renovation not only refreshed the building’s interior but also enhanced overall aesthetics with a modern color palette that complements the facility’s aquatic theme. The completed installation demonstrates DC Flooring’s expertise in recreation and municipal flooring projects, where durability, appearance, and timing are critical to successful delivery.
