Design Construct Flooring

How we handle your information

Effective 25 August 2026

The short version
  • We collect what we need to price your floor and call you back. Nothing beyond that.
  • We don't sell your information, rent it, or add you to a marketing list.
  • Your project photos are used to quote your job. If we ever want to show one publicly, we ask you first.
  • Google Analytics runs on our sites and sets cookies. Section 8 tells you how to turn it off.
  • Ask us to delete your record and we will.

1. Who we are

Design Construct Flooring LLC is a flooring contractor based in Houston, Texas. This policy covers dcflooringco.com, our estimator at estimate.dcflooringco.com, and the calls and emails that follow from either one.

2. What we collect

When you fill out a form on our website

The contact form asks for your name, email address, phone number, and your message. The restoration partner request asks for your name, company, phone number, the loss address or ZIP, and any notes you add.

When you use the flooring estimator

The estimator asks for more, because pricing a floor accurately takes more.

  • About you: name, email, phone, the street address of the project if you give it, and anything you type into the notes field.
  • About the project: ZIP code, project type, rough square footage, number of stair flights, the product you want, who's supplying the material, what's on the floor now, whether it needs to come out, what the subfloor is, whether you've had moisture or water intrusion, whether the floor is uneven, whether the home is occupied, whether furniture needs moving, your timeline, a budget range, and whether you own the home or are working on someone else's.
  • Photos: up to six, if you choose to upload them.
  • Your consent: the date and time you ticked the box saying we can contact you.
  • How you found us: the page you landed on, the link you clicked, and any campaign tag attached to it.

If you start the estimator and stop partway through after entering an email or phone number, we keep that partial entry. It's how we follow up with someone whose form timed out. Ask us to delete it and we will.

Automatically, when you visit

  • Google Analytics sets cookies and records which pages you viewed, roughly where you are based on your IP address, what browser and device you used, and which site sent you.
  • Your IP address is visible to our server when you submit a form. We use it for exactly one purpose: stopping a bot from hammering the form. It's held in memory for an hour and never written to our database.
  • Webflow, which hosts dcflooringco.com, keeps ordinary server logs.

3. Why we collect it

To price your floor. To contact you about it. To schedule and perform the work if you hire us. To honor the workmanship warranty years later, which means keeping a record of what we installed and where we installed it.

That's the whole list. We don't build advertising profiles from it and we don't run marketing campaigns against it.

4. Your project photos

Photos you upload go to file storage run by Vercel, our hosting provider. Each photo gets a long random web address that we don't publish anywhere.

Be aware of what that means. Anyone holding the exact address can open the photo without signing in. The address is effectively unguessable, and we don't post it, index it, or hand it out. Treat it the way you'd treat an unlisted link.

We look at your photos to quote the job and to plan the install. If we ever want to use one in our gallery or in marketing, we ask you first, and no is a complete answer.

5. Who else touches your information

We use a short list of outside services to run the business. Each one holds only the part it needs.

ServiceWhat it holds
WebflowHosts dcflooringco.com and stores contact form submissions
VercelRuns the estimator and stores your project photos
NeonThe database holding lead and project records
MailerSendDelivers the estimate email to your inbox
GoogleAnalytics on both sites, a working copy of lead records in Google Sheets, and our own business email

All of them store data in the United States. None of them is permitted to use your information for their own purposes.

Beyond that list, your information leaves our hands in only two situations: when you ask us to send it somewhere, and when the law requires us to produce it.

6. How long we keep it

PeriodWhat it applies to
15 yearsRecords for a job we performed. That's the length of our workmanship warranty, and we need the record to honor a claim.
24 monthsAn inquiry that never became a job, then we delete it.
12 monthsPhotos attached to a job we didn't win.
14 monthsGoogle Analytics data, which is the retention set on our Analytics account.

Ask us to delete your record sooner and we will, unless we still need it for a warranty we've already issued or for a tax or legal obligation we're under.

7. What we never ask for

No payment card numbers. No bank details. No Social Security number. Our website forms have never asked for any of those and never will. If something claiming to be us asks you for one, it isn't us, and we'd like to hear about it.

8. Cookies and analytics

The only tracking cookies on our sites belong to Google Analytics. Webflow sets a small number of its own cookies to make the site function.

You can stop the Analytics cookies two ways. Block cookies for our sites in your browser settings, or install Google's own opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Either one leaves the site fully working.

We don't run advertising pixels and we don't share your browsing behavior with advertisers.

9. What you can ask us for

  • A copy of what we hold about you
  • A correction, if something in it is wrong
  • Deletion of your record
  • That we stop contacting you

Email info@designconstructllc.com or call (281) 615-6053. We'll confirm you are who you say you are before acting on a request, then respond within 45 days.

Texas has a data privacy law, the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act. Whether it formally binds a company our size is a question for our attorney. We handle these requests either way.

10. Security

Traffic to our sites travels over an encrypted connection. The database and the photo storage sit behind our providers' access controls, and the internal side of the estimator is password protected.

No system is airtight and we won't claim ours is. If we suffer a breach that affects your information, we'll tell you.

11. Children

Our sites are built for people hiring a flooring contractor. They aren't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

12. Changes to this policy

The date at the top of this page is the last time we changed it. If we change something that actually affects you, we'll say so here rather than quietly swap the wording.
